Art Walk - November 4

ART WALK will be held this Thursday in Rochester! The Friends' Bookstore will participate again, with a  display of coffeetable books on art and artists. These books will be on carts in the foyer until 7:00 pm as well as on Friday and Saturday as the Minnesota Art Teachers' Conference is in town! The Bookstore also has many craft books, interesting fiction and non-fiction to suit the interest of almost any reader! We hope you will take the time to join all the fun downtown, and to drop into the store for your next new read.

Art Walk, Second Saturday BOOK SALES

Save the Dates:
Art Walk is going to be this Thursday the first July in the Bookstore. From 3pm to 7pm we will have a display of Art Walk books for sale, as well as other materials. August 5th will be our next Art Walk Sale!
Second Saturday
July 10th will be our next Bookstore Second Saturday Sale. Check details next week as we are sorting out the specials!

ART WALK

THURSDAY, TODAY (the 6th May) is Art Walk. The Friends' Bookstore will have longer hours tomorrow to participate in this Downtown Rochester Event. There are only two additional Art Walks (August 5th and November 4th), so mark your calendars. The Bookstore will have art books of excellent quality available for sale, as well as prints and paintings.
We will also participate in the Thursdays on First (Downtown Alliance) on the first Thursday of every month, with a wide variety of books for sale! Join us!

Art Walk May 6th

Remember that Art Walk will be this Thursday May 6th. The Friends' Bookstore will be open til 8.30pm to participate in the Rocheseter Street(s) Fair. We will have a number of art books on display/for sale, as well as magazines and prints. We have several paintings and prints that are also available for sale.

FRIENDS BOOKSALE DATES

The Friends of the Rochester Public Library have 5 booksales throughout the year. We just had a very successful Winterfest Sale! Our next booksale will be on Sunday 18th April 2010 to kick off National Library Week at the Library.
23, 24th June (Wed and Thurs) are the dates for the Rochesterfest Book Sale
10 October (Sunday) is the Fall Cleanup Book Sale
and finally
5 December (Sunday) is the Holiday Book and Bake Sale - a special event.

Also note that we will join Art Walk, keeping the Friends Bookstore open until 9pm on the first Thursdays of each month during spring and summer. Hope to see you there too. We will have displays of art books, paintings/prints and other items for sale, along with all the regular, wonderful books.
